An outline of proposed legislation by Chief Financial Officer Alex Sink to give the Cabinet the authority to establish optional, upper level Cat Fund coverage amounts and premiums on a yearly basis. This presentation was made to Governor Crist and the Cabinet on October 16, 2007.

Ms. Sink asked that the plan come up during the October special session, but it has not been considered. It may be taken up during the 2008 regular session beginning in early March.
