Tallahasee, Fla. - With the official start of the 2007 hurricane season now two weeks
away, the Florida Insurance Council has prepared a pair of White Papers
to remind homeowners to undertake an important insurance checkup before
the threat of a hurricane is imminent and to help policyholders
understand why insurers can not write new policies when a hurricane is
barreling down on Florida.
