The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, arguably the world leader in academic risk management education, has released a report on mitigation, insurance and financing of catastrophes. It devotes significant attention to Florida's problems and offers lots of food for thought as our Legislature begins a new session with property insurance issues still high on the agenda.
This research uses voluminous claims data obtained from Citizens Property Insurance Corporation.
